It is said that she had another son, unknown father, that went with her to Washington and sometime not long after her marriage the son was "sent away". Nothing is known about this son by me and he is not mentioned in her obituary. CBT

Loney A. Swanson
Loney A. Swanson, 75, a resident of Hoquiam the past 50 years, died Sunday, July 26, 1992, at an Aberdeen nursing home.
She was born Oct. 22, 1916, at Brady, Texas, to Arthur and Rilla (Mooring) McCann.
She moved to Hoquiam from Texas in 1942 and married Alvin A. Swanson that same year in Hoquiam. He died in 1976.
From 1944 to 1966 she lived on DeKay Road in Hoquiam. She had been employed by the Hoquiam Eagles as a cook when they were on J Street and as a checker at the door at the Eagles Lodge on Simpson and 5th Streets.
She enjoyed gardening, playing pool and bingo. She was also an avid watcher of soap operas on TV the last couple of years.
She was a lifelong member of the Neighbors of Woodcraft, Women of the Moose No. 432, Hoquiam Eagles Auxiliary and Hoquiam VFW Auxiliary.
She is survived by a son, Walter of Thompson Falls, Mont.; two daughters, Louise Jones of Hoquiam and Dolores House of Cosmopolis; a sister, Bea Dalton of Austin, Texas; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
One son, Raymond Botkin, and two daughters, Bonnie White and Joan Hickman George, died before her.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 29, at the Coleman Mortuary Chapel in Hoquiam.
