[393] Anderson is listed on the 1819 Hart Co. Tax List. Anderson and Polly's marriage: July 28, 1818 consent father Samuel Isaac's, surety: George Crane and they were married by Jacob Lock. He shows up 1819-1822, with no land; 1823, 44 acres on Green River; 1826-1827, with 98 acres on Green River; 1829-1831, 200 acres Green River; 1833, 200 acres Green River; 1835, no land; 1337 no land; and 1840-1843, no land. He is listed in Mercer County Tax list 1824. After 1843 nothing is known of him or his family. It is possible that his name was William Anderson Crane. According to 1830 and 1840 census' his birth year would have been about 1800.

[3866] In Marriage Record of Barren Co., KY., 1799-1849 there is also a marriage listed for Polly Isaacs to William Anderson dated July 18, 1818, 11 days before she married Anderson Crain. Consent: father Samuel Isaacs, witness Geo Crane. Perhaps Anderson's first name was William? Bond date July 28, 1818.
