Abraham Crain is listed in Jessamine County Tax lists, 1809-10, 1812, 1815-16, 1820-25. In the household of Abraham in 1810 Jessamine Co. there are two males 16-to under 26, it is possible that the other male was his brother George. There is an A. Crain listed in the 1813 Jessamine Co. tax list, as having 1 horse and one pole, it is assumed that it is Abraham. He is listed in 1815 as having 3 horses and one pole. In 1821 he is listed as having 2 horses and one pole.
In the book The Conn, Crane and Veach Families, there is a section titled "Abraham Crane and His Descendants". There is additional information on Abraham's line. According to this book William Hayden and Susan are their only children.

On her son's death certificate: Informant her grandson VT Martin: He wrote that James Mills Martin parents were John J. Martin and Georgeann Murray, the Murray is then crossed out and Mitchell is written above the crossed out Murray. George Ann Murray was James Mills Martin's wife's maiden name.)
