There is a George T. Crain listed as 15 and born in Indiana on the 1860 Hart County Census, in the household of Thomas and Susan Young. (unknown who he is). Listed as JT Crain on 1870 census, living next door to Thomas and Susan Young. There is a George T. and a GT listed on Hart County Tax lists for the years 1865-1868, no land or children between 6 & 20. (unknown if this is the correct George T.)
PLEASE NOTE: Information on this line is confusing. He was either married twice two women of the same age Mollie Young and Mary/Polly Crain or he was married only to Mollie Young and somewhere down the line information has gotten crossed, regarding Mary "Lolly/Polly" Crain.
George T. and Mollie Crain are listed in the 1870 census, while Mary "Lolly/Polly" Crain is listed in her parents household in 1870. However, there is a few years between children, that a second marriage could have taken place AND Henry S. Crain (listed as cousin and who is the brother of Mary "Lolly/Polly") was living in George T. Crain's household in 1880 Hart County. ANY HELP on this line would be appreciated.
