HORSE CAVE - Funeral services for Charles W. Martin will be Monday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Winn Funeral Home, Horse Cave, with burial in the Horse Cave Municipal Cemetery.
Mr. Martin died Friday, April 22, 2005, at T.J. Samson Community Hospital, Glasgow. He was 88. He was a native of Cave City, a retired mechanic and a member of the Cave City Church of Christ.
Survivors include a son: Edwin Martin of Grand Prairie, Texas; a granddaughter: Pam White and husband Francis Jr. of New Albany, Ind.; five sisters: Ann Adler of Milwaukee, Wis., Margie Tuck of Glasgow, Nina Gay Martin of Cave City, Martha Francis of Nashville, June Richardson of Hardyville; two stepdaughters: Juanita Lile of Cave City and Brenda Jaggers of Horse Cave; three stepsons: Phillip Walton of Horse Cave, Stanley Walton of Hardyville, and Fred Walton of Campbellsville; and several step-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Otis and Annie Elizabeth Geralds Martin; two brothers, Murrell and Virgil Martin; and one sister, Frances Parker.
Visitation will be from 2 until 8 p.m. today, and after 9 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
