He is mentioned in his Great Aunt (Elizabeth Oldham's) 1833 Will as being a "bodily heir" of her brother's daughter, Sarah B. Oldham Pedigo.
He is listed as 67 on the 1880 Metcalfe Co. census. He is indexed on Ancestry.com on the 1900 census as Charlott Pedego, age 79. On the 1900 census the following people are listed in Charles and Matilda's household. In order: Charles and Matilda and then, Lee son born May 18? (ancestry has him listed as 24, so that would put him at 1876); Willie, son, born May 18? age 28, Hallie, gdaughter, born April 187?, age 19, married for 2 years with one child; Charles L., grandson, born ?, 1899, age looks like 6 months to me, but Ancestry.com has him 4 months; Merry, d in law, born Jan. 1850, age 50, looks like she is listed as wd.; Willie D., son in law; born Oct. 1876, age 23, married for 2 years; (I'm not sure how everyone is related, Sept. 2007.)
Charles T. Pedigo is listed on the 1879 Metcalfe County, Ky., census as having 145 acres; nearest resident J. Pedigo in Precinct 1. It was worth $740. He is also listed with a 1/2 acre nears resident J. Anderson, in Precinct 1, it being worth $5. He listed having 14 hogs, 3 tons of hay, 150 bushels of corn and 25 bushels of wheat.

On the 1900 census they are listed as being married for 59 years and as having had 8 children with 6 still living.
I have copies of marriage records which include the following note:
