ARNOLD HUFF DIED AT HIS HOME HERE
MAN WELL KNOWN TO PEOPLE OF THIS SECTION PASSES PEACEFULLY AWAY
Arnold Huff, age 46 years, died yesterday morning at 10:30 o'clock, at his home 2102 West Avenue H.
Deceased was well-known and loved by all who knew him, and despite the fact that his whole lower part of his body was ossified, he had become well informed, and was an interesting talker.
Surviving relativesare his brothers, Maloy, Grover, Herman, Otis, and Robert; two step-brothers, Walter of Groesbeck, and W.L. McKenzie of Belfalls; his step-mother, Mrs. Emma Huff; and sisters, Mrs. Dora Mooring of Fort Worth, Mrs. Claude Turner, Mrs. Lena Cook, Misses Lula and Modene.
A friend of Mr. Huff, Miss Louise Cantrell of Dallas, arrived in Temple yesterday afternoon to attend the funeral.
May Bell Buffington, colored, has been nursing Mr. Huff for a number of years, since the death of her grandfather, who was known as "Grandpa" to all, and who served Mr. Huff faithfully during his life.
Funeral services will be held at the residence at 4:30 o'clock this afternoon, conducted by Rev. E.B. Hawk, assisted by B.A. Hodges. Interment at Hillcrest Cemetery.
