Rosa Lee Hagins Taylor
Funeral services for Rosa Lee Hagins Taylor, 85, of Spur will be held on Friday, June 6, 2008, at 2 p.m. in the First Baptist Church, Spur, with Rev. Genoa Goad of Breckenridge officiating. Rosa Lee died June 3rd in Lubbock. She was born in Lamesa on Dec. 14, 1922, to Poet Leon Hagins and Elizabeth Pitcox Hagins.
Rosa Lee married Ford Oliver Taylor on Sept. 23, 1939, in Spur.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ford; parents, Poet and Elizabeth Hagins; aunt and uncle, Joseph Hugh and Laredo Tyler Hagins; two brothers and one sister, Junior Ross Hagins, Paul A. "Pete" Hagins and Pauline A. Hagins Yeakley.
She is survived by three sisters and one brother, Dollie Mae Blair of Cleburne, Joycie Eloise Parker of Lubbock, Joan McWhorter of Durango, Colo., and Marvin A. "Mutt" Hagins of Spur. Rosa Lee helped raise over 60 nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Auntie, we love you and we'll miss you.
Burial will be in Spur Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Campbell Funeral Home.

Mrs. Guy R. Bailey, 37, of 222 N. Port was dead on arrival at a local hospital at 1 p.m. yesterday after suffering a heart attack at her home.
She had lived in Corpus Christi 21 years and was a member of the Christ Freewill Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband; two sons, Aubrey and Virgil Bailey, both of Corpus Christi; a daughter, Mrs. Patricia Lytle of Corpus Christi; a sister, Mrs. Lonia Swanson of Seattle, Wash.; her mother, Mrs. Rilla Alexander of Lockhart, and two grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by Cage-Mills Funeral Home.
