[1602] Her birth date is listed on the 1900 census as Feb. 1846. She is listed as Jessie Mooring's mother on the 1910 McCulloch Co. census, with the last name of Alfred. She listed that both her parents were born in Louisiana.

Death came in our little town on last Thursday morning at 2 a.m. and claimed for its victim one of our oldest residents, Grandma Mooring. She was 72 years old. She has been a faithful worker for Christ for a number of years. She was stricken with paralysis and only lived five days, but sure suffered during that time. All was done that human hands could do, but the One who doeth all things well saw fit to call her home to dwell with Him and she bad farewell to loved ones here on earth. Two sons who reside at Brady came in on Monday. Several of her children and grandchildren were with her when the end came.

[2342] They are listed as J.E. Morring and Jane Dickson on their marriage listing online. There is a Martha Dixon age 15 listed in John and Jane's household on the 1870 Hunt Co. Census as well as a Temperance Coffee age 56. I believe that Martha is a daughter of Jane from her previous marriage and that Temperance Coffe is her mother, this is not proven. There is a Temperance Coffee buried near Jane.

On the 1900 census Jane lists that she had 9 children with 8 still living.
