Edith Marie Martin
Glasgow -- Edith Marie Martin, 75, of Glasgow died Tuesday, May 15, 2002 at the Glasgow health & Rehab Center. Born in Barren County, she was the daughter of the late Clyde and Valerie Estes Poynter. Her husband was the late Murrell Martin with whom she owned and operated Martin's Appliance Sales and Service in Glasgow. Mrs. Martin was a member of the South Green.... (obit is cut off)
Survivors include two daughters, Judy Martin and husband Bobby of Canmer; Lisa Wright and husband Jeff of Vine Grove; one sister, Mary Hope of Louisville; three grandchildren, Chris Martin of Canmer, Harris and Payton Wright, both of Vine Grove; one niece, Janice Watson of Louisville; two nephews, Bobby and Billy England, both of Horse Cave.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one sister, Maedell England; one brother Cleo Poynter; and one grandchild, Robert Allen Martin.
Funeral services were incomplete at press time, but are under the direction of the A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home.
