[1592] Her parents were born in VA., according to the 1880 census. On a picture found, it read her name was Georgian, on two censuses it read Georgie Ann and in James' military pension records it states that her name is George Ann Murray, in two different places. She is listed as George A. Murray on her son James' birth listing in Metcalfe County.

On the 1900 Hart County Census, they are listed as having had three children and that all were living and that they had been married for 35 years. Unable to find a paper marriage record, Metcalfe County Courthouse burned down in 1867, marriage records start in 1868.
