Note: I found on-line a transcribed listing of lots of births and deaths, this is where I have gotten most of my exact dates from, for Tarpley and his children, the precede is as follows:
Bible belonged to Tarpley Oldham, born in Virginia; later moved to Barren Co. Ky., and lived in the Knob Lick section of what is now Metcalfe Co. Bible in possession in the 1960-1970's James Thompson of Knob Lick.
