[2554] There is a William Amey, listed 1800 Jessamine County, Census, tax list dated: Aug. 29, 1800. Also, listed in Jessamine Co., William Amiss, 1801. William Amiss listed in 1805 Jessamine County Taxes as having 154 acres, 7 horses, one slave and one pole. Also listed, in Jessamine Co., 1806-1807, 1809-1811, always listed as William Amiss. Note: A William Amiss Jr. shows up in 1811 and 1812 tax list, same county. William Amiss Sr. doesn't how up after 1811. There is a William Amos in 1810 Barren County Census. It is unknown to me at this time if this is the correct William Amos (June 2001).
